Lead our global spare parts and purchasing operations

As Borncut’s new Head of Global Spare Parts and Strategic Purchasing, you will take the lead in growing our global aftermarket business while ensuring the strategic sourcing and availability of components for both our machines and spare parts operations.

Based at our R&D and sales facilities in Hadsten, Denmark, you are going to work closely with colleagues across our sites, leading operations with responsibility for commercial performance, purchasing strategy and operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities

You will bring together business development, strategic sourcing and operational management to build a profitable, responsive and scalable operation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Revenue Growth & Business Development: Take ownership of the global spare parts business and its P&L, identifying opportunities to grow aftermarket sales, improve margins and increase profitability.
  
  
• Strategic Sourcing & Purchasing: Lead sourcing and supplier management for critical mechanical and electronic components. Negotiate competitive pricing and reliable lead times while building strong, long-term supplier relationships.
  
  
• Fast & Transparent Order Fulfilment: Improve order turnaround times by streamlining and automating processes from order entry to dispatch. Remove manual bottlenecks and increase delivery visibility and tracking transparency for customers.
  
  
• Multi-Site Operations: Provide unified leadership across our operations, working closely with warehousing, engineering and other colleagues in Hadsten, Rønne and Urk to align priorities.
  
  
• Customer Satisfaction & Service Performance: Establish ways to measure and track customer satisfaction with spare parts availability, delivery and fulfilment. Use performance data and customer feedback to identify and strengthen service levels.
  
  
• ERP & Inventory Optimization: Drive effective use of Uniconta to improve inventory accuracy, automate replenishment planning and strengthen purchasing, stock control and financial reporting.
  
  
• Financial Planning & Performance Management: Work closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, lifecycle cost management and operational KPIs, using data to guide decisions and deliver measurable improvements.

Your qualifications

You are a commercially minded and structured leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to improving operations. You understand how purchasing, inventory, supplier performance and customer service work together to drive business results. We imagine you bring:

• Leadership Experience: A strong track record in senior management within spare parts, aftermarket, strategic purchasing or supply chain operations.
  
  
• Strategic Purchasing Expertise: Proven experience in sourcing technical components, negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier relationships in an industrial environment.
  
  
• Digital & Analytical Skills: Experience with ERP systems and process automation, along with the ability to use data and KPIs to improve performance. Knowledge of Uniconta is an advantage.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Leadership: The ability to bring together purchasing, engineering, warehousing, finance and commercial teams around shared goals.
  
  
• Education & Communication: A relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. Fluent English is essential; Danish, Dutch or other European languages are an advantage.
